Mark Henderson, executive vice president and chief operatingofficer of Lockton Companies insurance brokerage, will be a speakerat the Indiana State University College of Business' insurance andrisk management program.

Presenting at the university's “Leader in Action” series, Mr.Henderson will address students taking a course in catastrophe andrisk management, and will also attend a reception, dinner andpresentation with members of the national collegiate actuarial,insurance and risk management society, Gamma Iota Sigma.

“These exchanges build long-term bridges with our industrypartners, which will, in turn, provide timely, cutting-edgeeducation for our students and countless opportunities for thosestudents and the company representatives to network,” said Mary AnnBoose, professor and program coordinator for the IRM Program atIndiana State.

The Leader in Action Series was created to bring top industryexecutives and leaders in insurance to campus to share their timeand talents with students, faculty and the community, Ms. Boosenoted.

Lockton, based in Kansas City, Mo., lists itself as the world'slargest privately held insurance broker. The firm has participatedin campus events before by hosting students over spring break inits London office as part of a course and by sponsoring charityevents and the Gamma Iota Sigma Career Expo.
