Confluency Solutions, a firm that offers insurance companiesweb-based solutions, has released cFluent Personal PropertyAnalyzer, a web tool that helps consumers and insurance companiesdetermine replacement cost estimates in less than two minutes.

The analyzer can be added to any insurance agency or company website and requires no technical expertise, special hardware, orsoftware to install or use. It allows an agency or company toaddress replacement-cost issues with consumers effectively,flexibly, and at little cost, according to the company.

“The data shared with us showed that about a third of the time,people did not have enough coverage to insure the contents of theirhomes,” said Kevin McDonald, president of Confluency. “There areinventory forms that insurance companies have, but nobody ever usesthem because it's too time consuming. By answering a few questionson the web, we can provide an estimate just by looking at some keyitems in particular rooms.”
