A settlement announced recently has ended the ordeal of laid-off factory workers in New Jersey who were sued for filing allegedly bogus workers’ compensation claims, saddled with a $2.2 million Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act judgment, and left high and dry by their prior lawyers.

Gregory Jachts, their new workers’ comp attorney, announced that they and their former employer had reached an agreement “that resolves all matters related to the federal RICO action and the Workers Compensation claims.”
