It’s difficult for a small to medium-sized law firm to keep up with the resources of a large firm. Imagine the David vs. Goliath struggle when a law firm with 500 or more attorneys brings its litigation resources to bear on a small firm. To even the odds, small firms have to get smart about business processes and technology and reduce the time and energy they use to manage paper. Toward that end, Hewlett-Packard has come out with a one-two punch to knock paper into a digital format and place it onto the network with its Scanjet 7650n product.

The Scanjet 7650n combines HP’s 7650 scanner with an Axis 70U Network Document Server from Axis Communications. This combination came right out of their boxes and onto the network in Law.com’s San Francisco office without a hitch.
