Thelen Reid associate Hanh Nguyen is taking a leave of absence so she can work for the United Nations in The Hague. Starting in March, she will report to a senior prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia as an assistant legal officer. Nguyen says she expects a fair share of grunt work, a lot of legal research, writing motions and maybe a role in court. A stint at a U.N.-run refugee camp when Nguyen was 11 left her with "a very favorable view" of the United Nations.
