Five partners in Saul Ewing's litigation department have defected to Buchanan Ingersoll in Philadelphia. The partners are John J. Barrett Jr., Rudolph Garcia, Edward J. Kelbon Jr., Paul C. Madden and James O'Toole. The additions are consistent with Buchanan Ingersoll's recent hiring binge. This year's other acquisitions have included IP and business litigators and tax and immigration lawyers from various regions of the country.

Five partners in Saul Ewing’s litigation department have defected to Buchanan Ingersoll in Philadelphia.
The partners are John J. Barrett Jr., Rudolph Garcia, Edward J. Kelbon Jr., Paul C. Madden and James O’Toole. They will enter their new firm early next month as equity partners, according to Buchanan Ingersoll Philadelphia office managing partner Howard Scher, who himself led a five-litigation partner lateral group to the firm four years ago.
