Now that the sideshow is over, the real fight over the constitutionality of banning same-sex marriage is about to begin. Attorneys on both sides of the issue predict that the constitutional challenge in San Francisco Superior Court will move along more quickly than many might imagine. A spokeswoman for Attorney General Bill Lockyer said the AG is hoping for a quick resolution to "settle the issue for the state and the couples who are affected."
