Three years of litigation over co-op tenants’ right to have “emotional support dogs” came to an end after a nine-hour settlement conference Thursday.
A housing discrimination case brought by the civil division of the Southern District U.S. Attorney’s Office, U.S. v. East River Housing Corp., 13 CV 8650, and related Housing Court actions, were settled, with one of the tenants agreeing to go dogless.
