The American Bar Association last month awarded Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal partner Michael A. Bamberger its Martin A. Lubaroff Award at the fall meeting of the LLC’s, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee, a chapter of the ABA’s Business Law Section. The event was held in Washington, D.C,

Mr. Bamberger also teaches limited liability at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he is an adjunct professor, and at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he is a lecturer. During his nearly five decades of practicing law, he has litigated before the U.S. Supreme Court, nine federal courts of appeals and several state supreme courts.

The Lubaroff Award recognizes individuals who have made material contributions to the development of alternative entity law.
