The private placement fund (PPF) is a new type of regulated investment vehicle available in Jersey specifically designed for the professional investor market. Units in a PPF may be offered by means of private placement, which has been the traditional distribution model for marketing alternative asset funds. One of the key attractions of the PPF is that there are no prescribed investment restrictions, concentration limits or leverage constraints, making it a highly flexible vehicle for investment structuring.
