Linklaters' Singapore ally, Allen & Gledhill, has formed an alliance with Malaysian firm Zaid Ibrahim. The alliance goes live on 1 January, 2008, with the two firms together boasting more than 400 lawyers across bases in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. While the two firms will remain independent, they plan to launch a joint office in Vietnam next year.
