City giant to focus support teams in larger offices as Berlin labour practice is closed

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is to shut its Berlin employment practice as part of a reorganisation that is expected to see several support teams concentrated in larger offices.
Freshfields has confirmed that it is to transfer its last Berlin labour partner, Jochen Lessmann, to Frankfurt. The move follows the departure at the start of the year of Frankfurt partner Caroline Bitsch to set up her own employment boutique.
