The Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 2005 was signed by the president of Ireland on 1 July, 2005. As its name suggests, the Act includes amendments to a number of provisions of Irish law but its primary focus was to amend the law in relation to Irish investment funds.
