Two former Davis Polk & Wardwell partners are returning to the firm to boost its litigation department after spells in public office.

CIA general counsel Scott Muller and senior Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) executive Joseph Hall have both decided to re-join the firm – hot on the heels of the announcement that a third former Davis Polk partner, Charles Duggan, counsel to US president George W Bush, has also returned to the fold.
