Regional firms have left City rivals standing in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2004 survey, with just one major London firm making the list.

Nine regional firms made the table, compared with just one London-based firm, the 70th-ranked Simmons & Simmons, while CMS Cameron McKenna, which came in at 59 last year, dropped out altogether.
