English Partnerships (EP), a government agency for economic development, has announced the rollout of a new web-based IT system – effectively an extranet – to manage its legal instructions.

The agency, which issues between 50 and 100 instructions per week to the four firms on its legal panel, said that it had seen cost savings of about 15% during the six-month pilot scheme for the technology.
