EC mandarin to spearhead Law Soc global drive

The Law Society has appointed former European Commission (EC) deputy representative Alison Hook as its new international directorate chief.

Hook takes over the Law Society’s most senior international policy position from Jonathan Goldsmith, who left the society in December to become secretary general of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of the European Union (CCBE).
