Citibank’s Schroders Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) has instructed Simmons & Simmons to advise it on specialist structured securities work in a benchmark instruction for the City firm.
The new instruction for the firm’s capital markets practice, which has not advised SSSB before, landed on the firm’s desk just a few weeks ago. Legal Week understands the work is not part of Citibank’s Europe-wide panel review, which was completed in May.
