David Davis, the Conservative chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of MPs, has called for a radical overhaul of NHS litigation.
The influential MP has drawn up a plan to cut the number of medical negligence claims taken out against the NHS – a move that would seriously reduce the amount of medical negligence work available to lawyers.
