“Is It Time to Get Political?” March 8

|

It's not the responsibility for CUs or any service orientedbusiness to influence through politics. CUs should focus onservices and products for members. It's unfortunate that theliberal establishment had nothing negative to say under the prioradministration, which did nothing but take from those who werestill able to work and pay taxes, which provided $322 billion tothose who never paid taxes. So let's continue to focus on theobjective of the business at hand and keep out of politics.

After all, [after] failing to scare thebejesus out of those of us in the alternative financial lendingindustry, what industry will they next seek out to drum up fear?Ah, I know. The CANNABIS space! As a matter of fact, I've alreadyattended a few cannabis workshops presented by firms previouslyserving us loan sharks – sorry, I mean fintech lenders. Hey,nothing personal. More than a few lawyers are some of my bestfriends! I'm sure Scott Tucker wishes he had a lawyer best friendright about now.
