The $502 million Financial Center Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis has hiredveteran IT manager Cameron Minges as its new senior vice presidentand chief information officer.

Minges has more than 30 years of programming and technologymanagement experience, most recently at the $724 million Vantage CUin St. Louis and prior to that at the $1.2 billion Centra CU and$951 million FORUM CU in Indianapolis.

At FORUM, he co-founded the FORUM Solutions CUSO that developedthe TAPS lending origination software operation that was latersold to Akcelerant Software LLC in Philadelphia, his newemployer said.

“Cam's depth of knowledge, passion for innovation, andleadership skills will help Financial Center deliver an exceptionalexperience to its membership on a more consistent basis and help uscontinue to be an industry leader in the areas of technology,security and new service adoption,” Financial Center CEO/President Kevin Ryan said in theannouncement on Thursday.

The announcement added, “Minges believes strongly in mentoringothers, and has helped guide six individuals who are now chiefinformation offers for progressive credit unions around thecountry. An avid cyclist, he often bikes to work from his home inCarmel.”
