First Financial Federal Credit Union, Wall,N.J., has hired Deborah Downie as director ofbusiness development. Downie brings to First Financial over 21years of experience at various Wall Street firms in corporatelending and institutional investing. Prior to her employment withthe credit union, she founded the Two Rivers Women InBusiness Consortium in Red Bank, NJ., a professional networkinggroup to help foster and support relationships while sharingresources and giving back to the community. Downie is a CFA andattended Baruch College where she earned her degree in finance andinvestment with minors in business law and education. She then wenton to obtain her M.S. in investment management at PaceUniversity's Peter Lubin Graduate School. First Financial alsoannounced that Richard Stubbs Jr. was promoted tosenior accountant. Stubbs began his career at First Financial as ateller in 2011 while finishing up his bachelor's in accounting.Three months later, he was transferred to the accounting departmentas an accountant. Stubbs is responsible for daily accountingoperations as well as preparing financial reports for managementand responding to internal inquiries. He graduated from KeanUniversity in Union, N.J., with a BS in accounting in June 2011. Heis currently pursuing an MBA from Keller Graduate School via theirNorth Brunswick, NJ campus.

GHS Federal Credit Union, Binghamton, N.Y.,announced the promotion of MonicaLescault-Casterlin to controller. Lescault-Casterlinjoined GHS in 1996 and within two years she was promoted to theaccounting department, she continued to work her way to senioraccountant and now to the position of controller Lescault-Casterlinholds an associate degree in accounting from Broome CommunityCollege with a minor in computer applications.

Nymeo Federal Credit Union, Frederick, Md.,formerly COMSTAR Federal Credit Union, announcedthat Tonya McLane has joined the organization tofurther develop its suite of small business account services.McLane comes with a background in the Frederick community and thefinancial services industry.  McLane joins Nymeo as thebusiness services administrator to develop, implement andadminister small business account services to the credit union'sever growing membership in the Frederick and Montgomery Countycommunities.

Dow Chemical Employees' Credit Union, Midland,Mich.,  recently hired Carl Wilson as itsnew information technology director. Wilson will be responsible forsupervising employees and managing DCECU's enterprise informationservices and security. He also will evaluate technology systems,ensure that DCECU's technology infrastructure is operatingefficiently and accurately, and develop programs and strategies toaddress DCECU's evolving technology needs. Wilson graduated fromMadonna University with a bachelor's degree in computer informationsystems and from Bowling Green State University with a master ofbusiness administration degree.

Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union, Indianapolis,recently welcomed Ron T. Senci to its managementteam as of vice president, lending.  Senci brings with himmore than 25 years of expertise across all banking segmentsincluding retail, commercial, consumer and residential mortgage.Senci plans to leverage his knowledge and background in retailbanking and lending to grow loans business at the credit union,specifically in the areas of mortgages, credit cards and autoloans. Prior to joining Elfcu, Senci worked in financial servicesfor Fifth Third Bancorp based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and First Bankbased in St. Louis, Mo. Senci graduated from Indiana UniversityKelley School of Business where he studied finance.

Financial Center Federal Credit Union,Indianapolis, has hired Keith Scott as a database administrator.Scott is a graduate of Ivy Tech with a degree in personal computersupport and administration. The credit union has hiredMichelle Owens as a staff auditor. Owens bringsover six years of experience in finance and compliance with herfrom Huntington Asset Services. She completed her undergraduatework at the University of Indianapolis and holds a master's degreein business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.Financial Center has promoted Kristy DeLong tocenter operations manager at its Drover Street location. She hasbeen with Financial Center for nearly two years serving as apersonal service representative at the Fox Road and Castletonlocations. She holds her bachelor's in organizational leadershipand supervision from Purdue University. The credit union has alsopromoted Silvia Piva to production loan clerk. Shehas worked at the organization for over a year as a personalservice representative at the main office. Piva holds a degree inapplied translation from London Metropolitan University.

TAPCO Credit Union, Tacoma, Wash., said thatGwen Terry, vice president and chief operatingofficer, retired last month  after 42 years. Terry beganher career at TAPCO as a teller in 1971. Since then, she has heldvarious titles; assistant bookkeeper, accountant, data processingmanager, acting manager, administrative officer, vice president ofoperations and human resources, and vice president of humanresources. In 2004, she was honored by the Pierce County Chapter ofCredit Unions Lifetime Achievement award in acknowledgment of herpassion and dedication to TAPCO Credit Union.
