With the opening of a new center in Lenexa, Kan., TruHome Solutions LLC is gearing up to hire more employees tokeep up with the demand for mortgage servicing.

The mortgage CUSO, which is also based in Lenexa, said itsOperations Center is designed to accommodate hundreds of newemployees in the coming years.

The new facility at 9601 Legler Road can accommodate 276employees, and adds to the 136-employee capacity of TruHome'sLenexa Administration Center on 9777 Ridge Dr., for a possibletotal of 412 employees between the two facilities, as theycurrently exist, according to TruHome.

The CUSO said it moved all operations including loanoriginators, outside sales, processors, underwriters, closers andoperations assistance to the new location in early June.

Executive leadership, client relations, legal and compliance,servicing, and secondary marketing remain in the original nearbyadministration center location, TruHome said.

“Now that we have the new location with physical space toexpand, we look forward to continuing our aggressive hiring plan asa means to fulfill the increasing demand for mortgage solutions,”said Keith Varney, president of TruHome.

While all options were considered in the search for the newlocation, the Kansas Department of Commerce offered the mostattractive incentives, some of which included training dollars andits Promoting Employment Across Kansas program, according toTruHome.

“I'm excited to see TruHome Solutions expanding in Kansas andcreating hundreds of new jobs,” Kansas Commerce Secretary PatGeorge said. “The investment the company is making in the statewill help drive economic growth in Kansas. That is great for theKansas business environment and for Kansas workers.”

TruHome said several factors played into the decision to choosethe particular Legler Road building in Lenexa, including easyaccess to the administration center location and ample parking, aswell as expansion capabilities within the new facility for futurecompany growth.
