Alliant Credit Union in Chicago recently donated thousands ofgently used clothing items to Goodwill that were gathered duringthe $8.3 billion credit union's annual Spring Fling ClothingDrive.

The sales of donations to Goodwill help fund job trainingprograms, employment placement services and other community-basedprograms for people with disabilities or who lack education or jobexperience or face other employment challenges.

The clothing was collected at the 276,700-member Alliant'sChicagoland offices and was donated to a Goodwill center in DesPlaines, Ill.
