Credit Union Miracle Day has now raised more than $6 million forthe Children's Miracle Network hospitals in the past 12 years, PSCUsaid.

This year's $483,000 in contributions from credit unions andtheir supporters nationwide was helped along by $112,000 raised insponsored runs, including the Cherry Blossom Run last weekend inWashington, D.C., said PSCU, the St. Petersburg, Fla., paymentsCUSO and lead partner for the CUMD races since 2008.

“We are very proud of how credit unions and their businesspartners, including our lead partner, PSCU, and runners have allunited and collaborated to raise funds for Children's MiracleNetwork Hospitals under the umbrella of Credit Unions for Kids,”CUMD Chairman Juri Valdov said in a statement from PSCU.
