Jack Henry & Associates is now offering remote-deposit capture through the fast-growing mobile channel with the launch of a solution from its ProfitStars division.

Alogent Mobile Remote Deposit will use RDC technology from Mitek Systems Inc. of San Diego to support check image capture and deposits from smart phones such as Androids, iPhones, BlackBerrys and Windows-based devices, the company said.

"ProfitStars already supports more than 1,500 financial institutions and 155,000 users through commercial remote deposit. Now, we expect to expand this market success by serving hundreds of thousands of additional users," said Stacey Zengel, general manager of imaging solutions for Jack Henry & Associates.
