The NCUA's planned draft rules on the structure of corporate credit unions -which the agency is scheduled to unveil at its Nov. 19 meeting-and the political outlook for the 2010 elections figure to be heading the agenda for the annual American Association of Credit Union Leagues conference convening tomorrow in Naples, Fla.

Among speakers on the AACUL three-day program are NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz, who is scheduled to speak tomorrow and NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland, who is schedule to speak on Saturday.

Also on the docket are talks on mid-term elections by political consultant Michael Hook, founding partner of Greener & Hook, and Keith Frederick of FrederickPolls, LLC. Other speakers at the conference, which brings together CEOs and top staffers from state leagues as well as CUNA leaders, include Bill Hampel, CUNA's chief economist, and Lois Kitsch, national program director of REAL Solutions
