WASHINGTON – Credit union employees and volunteers who want to learn more about NCUA's plan to help homeowners having trouble with their mortgages can participate in a web seminar next Tuesday sponsored by NAFCU.

The free seminar, which will take place between 1:00 and 2:30 ET, will feature speakers from NCUA and NAFCU who will discuss the details of the $2 billion Credit Union Homeowners Affordability Relief Program (CU HARP).

Credit unions can buy subscriptions for the program through corporate credit unions through December 9. And the Central Liquidity Facility will fund the program starting on Jan. 2.
