SAN FRANCISCO — The $8 million Mission San Francisco FederalCredit Union drew more than 100 people, including local dignitariesand officials, to the grand opening of its new retail branch.

The credit union, partnered with its non-profit affiliateMission SF Community Financial Center is the only financialinstitution serving San Francisco's underserved missiondistrict.

San Francisco's City Treasurer Jose Cisneros co-sponsored thegrand opening and attended all with members of the CaliforniaAssembly, San Francisco board of Supervisors and representatives ofthe Mayor's office.

“This new office makes us much more visible to the community, sowe can reach more people and help them with their financialsituations. We have seen more and more people coming in sinceopening our doors here, and that means we are meeting our missionto help people,” explained Salvador Dur??n, Manager/CEO of MissionSF Federal Credit Union.
