TULSA, Okla. — Children's' Miracle Network benefited big time from Mother Nature at the Oklahoma Credit Union League annual charity golf tournament.
"It was a complete washout, but we all donated our golf registration fees to CMN," said Fort Sill FCU President/CEO Denise Floyd, one of the contributing golfers who sat out the morning after heavy rains canceled the May 8 golf tournament, an annual rite at the league's meeting.
Though final numbers were not yet available, "it will be a record sum," forecast Debra J. Morrow Ingram, the league's interim CEO.
