PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Two days after unveiling its new name,Riverset Credit Union has filed an application with thePennsylvania Department of Banking to merge with Duke FederalCredit Union.
|Previously known as Pittsburgh Teachers Credit Union, the $87million Riverset officially launched its new moniker on Jan. 1.According to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking, Riverset filedan application on Jan. 3 to merge with $1 million Duke FCU.
|On Dec.3, Riverset filed an amendment to its articles ofincorporation to provide service to the underserved and low-incomearea served by Duke FCU.
|Pittsburgh-based Duke FCU serves roughly 500 members. RiversetFCU serves more than 13,000 members.
