|For every member that gets a CPCU loan for a hybrid/alternativefuel vehicle, Carolina Postal will purchase a “Gift of Green” fromBeGreenNow of Green Mountain Energy. For each “Gift ofGreen” a tree is planted in Kootenai National Forest.
|BeGreenNow is partnering with American Forests to planttrees in the once-majestic Kootenai National Forest in Montana. Forthis reforestation project, Ponderosa Pine trees are being plantedto help the forest recover from large forest fires in 2000. Inaddition to absorbing CO2, the new trees will also helprestore the wildlife habitat that was destroyed, and return theforest to its former glory.
