KENSINGTON, Md. — Two members of the nine-member board of the $320 million Lafayette Federal Credit Union have resigned, leaving the CU with a seven member board just months after having voted to pursue a charter change to a mutual bank.
LeAnn Oliver, who was named as a deputy administrator of cooperative services for an agency of the U.S. Agriculture Department last year, and Drew Luten, a deputy assistant director for the U.S. Agency for International Development are no longer on the board.
Both Oliver and Luten confirmed the departures, Oliver on Jan. 25 and Luten at the end of the month, but neither offered any other comment on why they left.
