WASHINGTON — IR Federal Credit Union, which has served IRS and other federal civilian employees for more than 70 years, has expanded its field of membership and is celebrating with a name change.

Starting Sept. 5, IRFCU will switch to FedChoice Federal Credit Union to better reflect its new TIP (trade, industry, or profession) field of membership serving federal government civilian employees and retirees in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia Metropolitan areas. "It's an exciting time for both our members and our employees…with growth comes a multitude of possibilities, including more great services to offer our membership. We look forward to the next 70 years!" FedChoice President and CEO David E. Bunch Jr. said.
