AUBURN, Wash. – Verity Credit Union is headed into the future with a branch here that plays up a friendly, neighborhood feel. Designed by Seattle-based Callison Architecture, Inc. to better connect with members and potential members alike, the 2,000 square-foot branch features several distinct retail zones based on specific services, a laptop-friendly seating area, children's play area, conference rooms and easy-access teller lines. "The credit union wanted to create a space unifying their mission to educate members and provide exceptional service," said Callison Principal Chris Hamilton. "We decided to enhance their community feel with open spaces, comfortable seating and accessible materials." According to Hamilton details such as a warmer palette, suspended light fixtures, curved walls at varying heights and sleek comfortable furniture all helped create a more spacious environment where members can linger. The facility also includes a "library" area, which contains information and merchandise geared toward helping make members more financially savvy. "Now the credit union tagline `where you truly matter' means more to members because of the more dedicated space to fit their different needs," said Hamilton
