MONROVIA, Calif. – Focus One Community Credit Union has participated in the Monrovia Day celebration hosted by the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce. Monrovia Day celebrates the birthday and spirit of the city. The main highlight of this annual anniversary celebration is the Soap Box Classic, which is a home made car race that attracts hundreds of youngsters who race down the middle of Myrtle Avenue through Old Town. Focus One Community Credit Union not only sponsored this fun event, but also competed in the race. CU drivers 9-year old David Martinez, participated in the "Rascal Car" category, and 11-year Mark Bolose old participated in the "Classic Car" category. The pit crew included Focus One CUDL Representative Andrew Martinez and member Victor Bolose.
