COLUMBUS, Ohio – Primary Financial LLC has named Mark Solomon as its first president/CEO. Primary Financial, a CUSO owned by the corporate credit union network, is best known for its SimpliCD brokered CD product, which has almost $3 billion outstanding. The CUSO was first created by Corporate One FCU, and then later morphed into a corporate network CUSO after being acquired by Corporate Exchange LLC in 2003. Solomon currently serves as senior vice president and CFO for Corporate One. Primary Financial is operated out of Corporate One's Columbus, Ohio headquarters. Solomon has banking, accounting and auditing experience. He spent two years as a senior risk advisor with Bank One and 14 as a senior manager with Ernst & Young LLP. Solomon takes over Primary Financial on May 2. He was selected by three members of Primary Financial's board who comprised the selection committee – Northwest Corporate President/CEO Kathy Garner, WesCorp EVP and Chief Investment Officer Bob Burrell and Mid-States Corporate FCU's President of Minnesota Operations Lew Lambert.
