HOUSTON – Credit Union Resources, Inc. of Dallas, the Texas Credit Union League's services corporation, has named John M. Floyd & Associates (JMFA) of Houston as its "Preferred Business Affiliate" for its overdraft privilege program. Credit union leagues in New Jersey and New Mexico also have recently endorsed the company. The TCUL has 612 affiliate members and serves about 7 million Texans. "The public is demanding value-added services like overdraft privilege," John Floyd, CEO of the firm, said. "This discreet member service avoids the humiliation of customers `making good' on a check with a valued retailer. Neither the customer nor the merchant loses time or productivity in "straightening out an NSF (non-sufficient funds) mess," he said. "Members don't wind up on merchants' bad check lists.
