SAN DIMAS, Calif. -WesCorp recently hosted two executives from Mexico who are key players in PHANAL. PAHNAL (Patronato del Ahorro Nacional) is the Mexican Trust for National Savings and is involved with implementing the new Mexican banking law signed by Mexican President Vicente Fox in April of this year, part of which involved developing a system similar to the corporate CU system in the U.S. Javier Gavito, executive director of PAHNAL, and Gonzalo Tapia, product development manager at PAHNAL, were the visitors. They also visited U.S. Central, the California CU League, and the World Council of Credit Unions.
