Work-life balance is getting a great deal of attention these days – and for good reason, as the importance of workers' mental health is becoming increasingly apparent.

Take these two reports that just came out:

In an analysis of work-life balance factors in 34 countries published in the Journal of Happiness Studies, Japanese Professor Hideo Noda of the Tokyo University of Science found that men demonstrate a higher elasticity, especially for personal and leisure time, a major contributing factor of work-life balance. Noda suggests that this could mean that work-life balance is more important to men than it is to women.
