MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University is getting more than $476,000 in federal funding for a mental and behavioral health training program.
|The grant will be used to train 25 master's-level social work students in mental and behavioral health primary care services, treatment and prevention services, child and family services and mental health and substance abuse treatment.
|Training also will include school and community services for rural areas with a focus on children, military personnel, veterans, and their families.
|U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin announced the funding from the health care reform law on Sunday.
