After five years of steady gains, King & Spalding broke the $2 million mark in profits per partner in 2013, becoming the first Atlanta-based firm to do so. The firm’s PPP of $2.14 million was a 7.8 percent increase from 2012.

Gains in other metrics were not as steep: Gross revenue rose 4.1 percent, to $861.5 million, although revenue per lawyer dipped 0.5 percent, to $985,000.
