Dentons has added Lissi Mojica and Kevin Greenleaf to its intellectual property practice in Silicon Valley. The pair departed from Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner and specializes in post-grant litigation before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. During a 19-year tenure at the USPTO, Mojica served as the first director of the Central Reexamination Unit. Greenleaf, a former computer engineer, has significant experience handling litigation-driven inter partes reviews, re-exams and post-grant proceedings. See story online. Intellectual property litigation partners Jeffrey Lokey and Shawn Hansen have joined Nixon Peabody. Lokey, who advises clients on patent litigation and trade secret litigation, jumped to the firm’s Palo Alto office from Greenberg Traurig. Hansen, who will represent clients in the technology and media industries from Nixon Peabody’s Los Angeles and Palo Alto offices, joined from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. See story online. Goodwin Procter has named Lynda Galligan as chairwoman of its Silicon Valley office. Galligan succeeds Anthony McCusker, who will continue to serve on the firm’s executive committee and lead the firm’s technology practice. Galligan, a partner since 2007, is a member of the firm’s ERISA and executive compensation practice.

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein has named Kelly Dermody the managing partner of its San Francisco office. Dermody serves on the executive committee of the firm and chairs its employment law practice group.
